It started as survival. It became a calling.
“When I was a teenager, my dad told me I should get into insurance. I laughed.”
Years later, I wasn't laughing. Eight months before COVID hit, I went all-in on a hospitality business. When the world shut down, I lost it all. Not knowing where else to turn, I entered insurance and risk management. What started as survival became a calling. My background in consulting gave me a different lens: it's not about selling products. It's about building real strategies.
I've helped thousands of families navigate health coverage decisions. That work taught me something most advisors miss: healthcare isn't a line item in a retirement plan. It's the thing that keeps people up at night.

Today, I focus on the work that gets pushed off: making the right Medicare choice, planning for extended care needs, understanding the real risks in retirement, and finding coverage that actually fits your life. I do that work upfront so my clients can walk out the door with peace of mind.

Beyond the office
Family is at the heart of why we plan ahead.
I grew up in Columbus, Mississippi. My wife and I are raising our three kids outside Clarksdale in the Delta, where her family is from. When I'm not working, life is pretty simple: church on Sunday, something on the grill, and time with the people who matter most.
I'm a listener by nature. I love a good podcast, and if you get me started on ancient history, technology or football, you might not get me to stop.
